ESXI 7.0 客制化ISO手動更新方式

 最近重新安裝一台R730，在下載對應ESXI版本時，發覺官方把7.0 Update 3前幾版都下架了，還提示為不要用在生產環境

安裝好後，才想起前陣子安裝的R720是不推薦使用的版本(18644231)，馬上使用動手升級

1.下載 客制化版本  VMware-VMvisor-Installer-7.0.0.update03-19193900.x86_64-DellEMC_Customized-A02.zip

2.上傳至儲存體

3.登入SSH

4.因為是客制化檔案，先查看profile name指令如下

esxcli software sources profile list -d  /vmfs/volumes/Sys/temp/VMware-VMvisor-Installer-7.0.0.update03-19193900.x86_64-DellEMC_Customized-A02.zip

得知名稱為"DEL-ESXi-703_19193900-A02"

5.套用更新指令

esxcli software profile update -d /vmfs/volumes/Sys/temp/VMware-VMvisor-Installer-7.0.0.update03-19193900.x86_64-DellEMC_Customized-A02.zip -p DEL-ESXi-703_19193900-A02

6.錯誤.提示CPU不在支援的清單

Hardware precheck of profile DEL-ESXi-703_19193900-A02 failed with warnings: <CPU_SUPPORT WARNING: The CPU in this host may not be supported in future ESXi releases. Please plan accordingly.>

7.套用忽略硬體檢查參數  --no-hardware-warning

esxcli software profile update -d /vmfs/volumes/Sys/temp/VMware-VMvisor-Installer-7.0.0.update03-19193900.x86_64-DellEMC_Customized-A02.zip -p DEL-ESXi-703_19193900-A02 --no-hardware-warning

8.更新完成.重開機
